Your opportunity to join our team:

Our Edinburgh Park – Further Processing facility is looking to employ an experienced full time Warehouse Supervisor to join the team.

As the Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the warehouse’s operations, focusing on receivals, dispatch, ingredient and packaging management, and inventory control. This role includes coordinating with transport companies, managing Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), and ensuring compliance with safety procedures through self-audits.

You will have the ability to work collaboratively with planning, production, cross-functional teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Daily Tasks

  • Monitoring inventory levels and work with planners and purchasing officers to replenish stock as needed.
  • Drive, monitor and improve existing inventory control systems and practices.
  • Monitoring the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries and processing.
  • Monitoring daily stock variance reports and coordinating with relevant teams for investigation and resolving the issues
  • Analyzing and reviewing supply chain data to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Co-ordinating and performing regular stock checks and reporting on any issues
  • Maintaining and updating inventory records.
  • Co-ordinating and conducting full inventory cycle counts, which also needs to work with 3PL along with site based teams
  • Monitor daily order flow (in close contact with receivals, dispatch and admin teams). Monitor that both BPCS and 3PL systems are aligned, take corrective action where needed.
  • Initiate liaison between internal warehousing and 3PL adjustment and source plant in the event of inventory variances.
  • Ensures accurate and timely reporting
  • Reviewing and following-up on the raised SCAR’s
  • Ensuring COR checks are completed
  • Update relevant KPI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute appropriate process improvements
  • Identify and trouble shoot root-cause issues

You will bring to this role:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics, warehousing, or previous management experience is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision with a strong understanding of receivals, dispatch, inventory management, 3PL operations, and SCAR handling.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage physical tasks and adapt to varying working conditions.
