PEOPLE
Our people are at the forefront of our purpose.
We are a team of 8,000 strong and are guided by our values of care, courage, curiosity and commitment.
By working in the best way, being guided by our values, we will achieve our ambition to be Australia and New Zealand’s first choice for poultry.

SAFETY
Safety is integral to everything we do.
We are relentless in our focus on improving safety through visible leadership, positive behaviour of our people, design of our operations and products, and implementing safe systems and procedures.
We are committed to a vision of Zero Harm. Zero Harm means we take responsibility for our own actions; take near miss reporting seriously; understand, implement and comply with our Work Health & Safety Management System (WHSMS) and procedures; investigate incidents with a preventative mindset; demonstrate that we take safety seriously; and never compromise or expect others to compromise on safety.
Ingham’s has an established WHSMS that covers all of our operations across Australia and New Zealand and subject to rigorous audits.
INCLUSION, EQUITY AND DIVERSITY
Inghams is committed to fostering an inclusive and constructive culture where our people feel empowered to bring their best selves to work and thrive, both personally and professionally. Our commitment to this journey is aligned to our brand promise to be Always Good to our people at Inghams, to the communities where we work, to our animals, and to our planet.
This commitment to Inclusion, Equity and Diversity includes:
First Nations
We proudly recognise Elders past and present as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we work and live. In FY24, we launched our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to support greater opportunities for First Nations peoples to thrive in our business and the community. Gender
Gender representation in leadership across our organisation remains an ongoing target, with promotions of women increasing to 42%, a 4% year-on-year improvement. This focus on gender representation aims to help us achieve our target of 40% women in the Organisational Leadership Team (OLT).
LGBTQ+
We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive workplace for LGBTQ+ employees, ensuring everyone feels respected regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. In FY24, as part of our ongoing Pride in Diversity membership with ACON (the AIDS Council of NSW), we amended more than 10 of our People and Performance policies for gender neutrality and LGBTQ+ inclusion. We also have an active pride network which provides employees with support, and our People and Performance team receives regular inclusion training to ensure our recruitment practices are inclusive and affirming.
Ethnicity
We support cultural and linguistic diversity by making all our People and Performance Policies and key communications available through our internal communication platform in the top 10 languages spoken by our people. We also celebrate days of recognition and observances for the major cultures represented by our people.
Our inclusive team of 8,000 believes in celebrating our successes while seeking ways to learn, innovate and improve every day. Explore your opportunity to thrive within our team.
