Your opportunity to join our team

As the planning administrator, at our Flagship Further Processing Plant, you will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance department. This pivotal role is multifaceted, focusing on the effective management and configuration of the Maximo system to support maintenance operations.

You will report directly to the Reliability and Maintenance Planner who will oversee your responsibilities of updating and development of our CMMS platform to enable accurate details in job plans, (Tasks, Parts, Time allocations, resources) so that task can be completed with greater focus and efficiency.

Daily Tasks

  • Drive preventative maintenance operations by supporting the planner in scoping and scheduling jobs.
  • Focusing on the effective management and configuration of the system to support maintenance operations. Updating work orders to ensure standard SOP, tasks, parts and duration are current.
  • Assist with roll out of plans, tracking and reporting work completion and task status.
  • Work with the Planning team to provide meaningful analysis and reporting of inventory requirements to the planning team.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policy and procedure, ensuring best practice is established, embedded and maintained
  • You will be responsible for overseeing workflow process and automating repetitive tasks and managing records.
  • Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation phase, often involving system setup, security, and customization to align with organizational needs.
  • As a Maximo support administrator you must also handle escalations, modify system settings, and ensure that the database is maintained properly.
  • You will be instrumental in training users, providing ongoing support, and contributing to the evaluation and improvement of the CMMS system to maximize return on investment.
  • Responsibilities include organizing and coordinating preventive maintenance activities, updating and maintaining asset information, and tracking work order data.

You will bring to this role

  • You will need to be able to analyze downtime data to develop effective preventive maintenance procedures and complete monthly reports and KPIs for maintenance.
  • Assist with coordinating contractor work and distribute necessary materials to vendors or contractors before site visits.
  • Qualifications or experience in a relevant field such as business administration or engineering, and skills in areas like computerized maintenance management systems and Contractor/Vendor management are highly valued.
  • Demonstrated warehousing experience with strong inventory control skills
  • Experience with CMMS (Maximo)
  • Excellent communication style with high level interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and influence key stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt in a fast paced, dynamic business environment
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and high levels of motivation and reliability
  • Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance related degree
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience using large databases will be advantageous
