As our Regional Business Manager (QLD/NSW) you will experience an inclusive, friendly culture where collaboration, knowledge-sharing and diversity is supported. Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will be responsible for leading and implementing the Wholesale Sales Strategy whilst ensuring that Inghams can deliver an outstanding service and continue to build and maintain our strong relationships with internal and external customers.

This position can be based in Sydney or Brisbane with flexibility to travel interstate as required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, lead, and implement the Wholesale Sales Strategy
  • Deliver and drive the annual agreed sales and profit targets
  • Coach, develop and support the Wholesale Sales team to think commercially and technically in order to achieve business outcomes and KPIs
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure strategies, plans and programs are implemented and executed
  • Manage strategic development and rollout within the Wholesale Channel
  • Drive promotional effectiveness and account specific promotions
  • Develop the speed to market strategy, create the monthly business reviews and ensure the category analysis and recommendations are in line with customer needs
  • Ensure cost effective “route to market” via Inghams distribution network

Key requirements:

  • Degree qualified in business or marketing will be advantageous
  • Confident in creating and developing sales strategies which exceed customer expectations, through innovation, operational excellence and high integrity
  • Possess a motivational leadership style to support a successful and high performing sales team
  • Ability to build strong and credible relationships with internal business stakeholders and externally with Inghams’ customers
  • Commercially astute with high business acumen
  • An agile approach, able to think on your feet and make effective strategic decisions at an enterprise level
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience working within FMCG or meat industry
