The Role

A position is currently available to join Tahmoor’s Quality Team as a Quality Control Team Member.

This is a great opportunity for someone who would like experience within the QC/QA field, or who has previous experience in a similar position and would like to continue to expand their knowledge.

As a QC, you will be involved in overseeing the online quality standards of our Ingham’s products within your department and assist in investigations of all quality issues and implement corrective actions. You will be our first line of defence to highlight any products that don’t meet our high Ingham’s product pride standards.

Individual Accountabilities:

  • Verifying that products are manufactured according to quality specifications
  • Identifying and escalating food safety and quality issues
  • Completing routine testing and assessments such as oil analysis, finished product cook-up assessments,
  • Allergen testing and cleaning chemical testing
  • Completing GMP inspections and reporting findings to production team
  • Managing the hygiene verification program including taking swabs and completing hygiene inspections.
  • Escalating and investigating incidents of foreign objects during processing
  • Placing non-conforming product on QA hold
  • Data collection and entry
  • Following site safety rules; identifying hazards and risk and escalate as needed
  • Assisting the site Quality Team where required

Skills required:

  • Proven ability to work effectively within in a team environment and also individually.
  • Being self-accountable for achieving expected outcomes
  • Strong attention to detail, and information processing skill
  • Good computer skills
  • Have strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Be a role model and team player
