Your opportunity to join our team
We are seeking Packing Operators to join us on afternoon shift on a permanent basis, based at our Further Processing Facility in Thomastown.
Working Hours
- 3:30pm to 12:00am OR
- 2:30pm to 11:00pm
Daily Tasks
- Packing Ingham’s frozen products into cartons (must be comfortable handling chicken products)
- Ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment, particularly when setting up and when product change overs are required
- Assisting Line Operators in Packing area
- Being an active, respectful team member that is reliable and honours work commitments
- Get involved with safety, follow the safety rules, speak up and be mindful of risks
- Maintaining a high level of personal hygiene
- Storing and maintaining materials, equipment and tools
- Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks.
You will bring to this role
- Capability to perform repetitious tasks efficiently, correctly and systematically in accordance with policies and standards
- To be able to successfully communicate both written and verbally
- Ability to respond calmly and methodically when faced with obstacles
- Good level of fitness are required as you will manually handle up to 15kg
