Your opportunity to join our team

Join as our Maintenance Supervisor in our Bolivar Processing site and you will be responsible for the direct management of all planned and non-planned maintenance activities of the site. This role will work closely with the operational teams and will be accountable for the execution of the maintenance plan and will reduce reactive maintenance and improve unplanned downtime.

Daily Tasks

  • Lead maintenance team to ensure the effective implementation of the maintenance strategy to maximise efficiency and productivity by reducing reactive maintenance and improving unplanned downtime of equipment
  • Ensure the execution of safety and quality assurance practices into all repairs and maintenance activities and manage corrective actions in a timely manner
  • Hold team members accountable when they fail to meet QHSE practices
  • Drive Ingham’s way asset management standards through implementing robust maintenance standards
  • Execute the maintenance plan with ongoing measurement of performance, achievement of scheduled deadlines and allocating resources appropriately
  • Implementation of reliability improvement strategies and practices through the analysis of key performance indicators
  • Contribute to the capital planning process by identifying areas where improvements can be made
  • Hold section/teams accountable for achieving expected outcomes, delivering section goals and results
  • Manage team to meet expected performance using coaching, delegation and recognition
  • Openly communicate and involve entire workforce to set high safety standards and confront risks
  • Define team targets, monitor performance, food safety and complying with Ingham’s minimum standard procedures

You will bring to this role

  • Experience in successfully leading a cross-functional and multi-disciplinary team
  • Proven ability in creating a step change in reliability results
  • Background of maintaining site services in bulk materials handling, process control system, pneumatic control and conveying system
  • Experience operating in a culture of 5S, TPM, LEAN/Six Sigma and CMMS
  • Successfully delivered improvements in maintenance practices and performance
  • Working knowledge of best practice maintenance management & systems
  • Proven experience in implementing cultural change through leadership, engagement and performance management.
  • Ability to coach and develop others, monitor and measure performance and provide direct feedback.
  • Proven project management skills with capability to manage multiple tasks, measure performance and meet deadlines while holding self and others accountable
  • Although this role requires the Maintenance Supervisor to manage the day-to-day activities of the maintenance team, you will also be required to be hands on when the need arises
  • Degree or post trade qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Post trade qualifications in Maintenance Management desirable
