Due to an increase in production we are looking for people available for either morning (4am-12:06pm) or afternoon (1pm-9pm) shift. This is a full-time role featuring regular shift times, with opportunities for over-time.
You’ll be joining a team of hard workers, in a fast-paced, challenging environment. No experience is necessary, just the right work ethic and respect towards the team and the animals you will be handling. Remuneration for this role is set at the level of a fully trained employee, even during the training period.

Daily Tasks:-
- Gripping and hanging chickens in a repetitive manner
- Specialised tasks including washing, eviscerating, and trimming chicken carcasses
- Manual handling duties -lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching
- Working your whole shift in a dark and humid environment
- Storing and maintaining materials, equipment and tools
- Identifying and escalating Animal Welfare, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:-
- Performing repetitive tasks
- Understand and follow instructions and procedures
- Work well within a team environment
- Communicate well both written and verbally
- Showing commitment, reliability and motivation
- Respond calmly when faced with obstacles
- Physically fit and repetitively lift 5kg-15kg
- Flexibility to cover various shifts when required
