Your opportunity to join our team

We are looking for pro-active, dedicated, enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals with a desire to take on a team leader role for day shift, within the dispatch team.

This is role is responsible for looking after both Palletising and dispatch team

This will be a hands-on role, with the successful applicants being required to work with their team in the area, whilst also providing leadership and direction on a day-to-day basis.

Daily Tasks

  • Supervise, develop, and motivate direct reporting staff.
  • Establish, communicate, and monitor safety standards and lead corrective action in areas of high risk.
  • Coach and develop the Dispatch team to ensure they have the capability to meet the performance goals.
  • Liaising with external stakeholders for organising and booking trucks per scheduled plan
  • Managing accuracy of data management including dispatch activities and stocktakes
  • Identify and manage Food Safety and Quality issues, hazards, and risks.
  • Lead by example and ensure QA standards are maintained.
  • Identify maintenance needs.
  • Assist with GMP, Housekeeping, and audit standards

You will bring to this role

  • Passionate for creating a strong performing team
  • Previous experience in Fast paced environment
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships throughout all levels of the business, especially with employees from all different backgrounds and demographics.
  • Analytical mind-set and ability to think critically to identify and address the issues.
  • Ability to adapt to the changing environment and prioritise the tasks accordingly
  • Provide regular coaching, mentoring and development
  • Display a positive, flexible attitude.
  • Are reliable, trustworthy, and display excellent attendance.
  • Computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft office applications.
