In this role you will be supporting our Murarrie Primary Processing team with all roles requiring the use of forklifts.
You will be someone who is who is self-motivated and requires minimal supervision, with the capability and capacity to undertake various tasks.
We are currently looking for Forklift Operators to cover morning shift (5.00am-1.21pm) or night shift (5.00pm-1.21am), with the flexibility to work overtime or weekends when/if required.
Daily Tasks
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Compactor operating and Bin tipping
- Storing and maintaining materials, equipment and tools
- Normal housekeeping duties
- Identifying and escalating Animal Welfare, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks
You will bring to this role
- Understand food allergens and non-allergens
- Understand and follow instructions and procedures
- Great attention to safety and working environment
- Work well within a team environment
- Communicate well both written and verbally
- Showing commitment, reliability and motivation
- Respond calmly when faced with obstacles
- Physically fit and repetitively lift 5kg-15kg
- Flexibility to cover various shifts when required
- Forklift License required
