Your opportunity to join our team

In this role you will be supporting our Primary Processing Plant in processing, inspecting and packing raw chicken meat. We are looking for people who are flexible to cover various shifts and weekend work as and when the need arises in order to support the team.

Morning Shifts (5am-13:06pm) and Afternoon Shifts (3pm-23:06pm) available.

Daily Tasks:

  • Processing, trimming, cutting and boning raw chicken
  • Boning out whole chicken and chicken pieces
  • Manual handling duties – lift, pull, push, bend and reach
  • Store and maintain materials, equipment and tools
  • Identifying and escalating Animal Welfare, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks

You will bring to this role:

  • Understand and follow instructions and procedures
  • Work well within a team environment
  • Showing commitment, reliability and motivation
  • Respond calmly when faced with obstacles
  • Physically fit and repetitively lift 15kg
  • Flexibility to cover various shifts when required

Please note, due to quarantine restrictions we are unable to accept applications from people who regularly come into contact with pigs or birds OR have anyone living in the same residence as you, work in other poultry or pig operations.
