This role will see you business partnering with Plant Manager and provide high level of financial acumen and support for the Primary processing function. This role will support the designated primary processing facility across Australia. The position requires advanced manufacturing accounting knowledge along with flexibility to complete both transactional and value add tasks as part of the Commercial Primary Processing Team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analysis of operating performance and potential savings using actual, historical and forecast data
  • Assist in preparation of Capex for site proposals and do a post implementation review
  • Generate Budget templates and financials
  • Review and maintain site standards
  • Assist in preparing, analysing and reporting financial reports weekly
  • Assist in preparing, analysing and reporting financials monthly
  • Ad hoc reporting and providing financial support to relevant projects within the Primary Processing function as required
  • Analyse Payroll data for the site and be involved in site benchmarks
  • Monitor balance sheet accounts ensuring accuracy of financial records

  • An analytical and critical thinker, particularly in the context of problem solving
  • High attention to detail, the ability to access data, analyse the information and apply business and professional knowledge
  • An enthusiastic team player
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting work priorities
  • Professional qualification – CA or CPA a must.
  • At least 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing background
  • Proven business partnering skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and technology skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and complex business environment
  • Proficient in using multiple management information systems
  • Advanced Excel skills
