One year ago, Inghams transitioned all of its New Zealand-operated sites to be powered by Lodestone, ensuring 100% renewable electricity we use is matched to certified renewable solar generation.
From 1 April 2026, that partnership extended further with 78% of our contracted grower farms in New Zealand moving to Lodestone’s solar-backed energy offering.
The shift to renewable electricity reduces emissions for participating grower farms, while for Inghams, it is a practical and collaborative step forward in working with our partners to further reduce emissions across our supply chain.
This significant milestone reflects the strength of our grower relationships and our ongoing collaboration with Lodestone, which continues to deliver meaningful sustainability outcomes across our network.
A huge thank you to Greg Bannon, Amy Lyttle and Tony Burgess in our Inghams New Zealand team for bringing this partnership together.
