Your opportunity to join us at Lisarow!

Based at our Lisarow Further Processing plant this position will be responsible for identifying and leading continuous improvement initiatives and programs across the site. Working closely with our engineering, production, quality and safety teams, you will establish and standardise processes and systems to facilitate and embed a high-performance culture and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with key stakeholders across various teams to establish, implement and embed standardised processes across the Ingham’s network
  • Identify areas of highest potential to generate returns and drive the business towards best practice
  • Lead strategic continuous improvement programs and initiatives to support the achievement of the Ingham’s strategy
  • Monitor and report on projects and investments
  • Use CI methodologies and tool and drive overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) across the business
  • Lead and facilitate change management activities to support the transition to new processes and ways of working
  • Promote a culture of data based decision making and CI through regular performance benchmarking
  • Define corrective actions and monitor implementation
  • Work with various departments on projects and attend regular meetings as required
  • Be a part of the Site Leadership Team
  • Ensure compliance with all government and industry standards/codes for product and process quality

We’re interested in people who can bring:

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of CI within a processing or manufacturing background
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge with strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively across an organisation
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple organisation-wide initiatives to achieve project goals
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Experience in implementing and sustaining change management / improvements
  • Ability to monitor and measure performance and provide direct feedback
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic business environment
  • High level of resilience and ability to recover from setbacks with a positive outlook
  • Willingness to undertake training and development
  • Food industry experience will be highly regarded
  • Understanding of Six Sigma methodology and relevant tertiary qualifications are advantageous
