Sydney, (13 October 2015): Ingham’s Executive Chairman Mick McMahon today announced the appointment of Dr Andreas Dubs to the position of General Manager Public Affairs.
Dr Dubs joins Ingham’s from the Australian Chicken Meat Federation where he was Executive Director for the past 11 years.
He was previously involved in the establishment of the Cooperative Research Centres Program under Hawke and Keating Governments and in the commercialisation of innovations at the Australian National University and the University of Stuttgart. Dr Dubs has a physics degree from the ETH Zurich, a PhD in Neurobiology from the ANU and an MBA from Deakin University.
Mr McMahon said Dr Dubs brought a deep understanding of the Australian poultry industry’s challenges and opportunities and was very familiar with the diverse range of stakeholders at the federal, state and consumer level.
“We welcome Andreas and look forward to having his technical, communication and stakeholder management expertise on board,” Mr McMahon said.
